EARLY LEARNING PROFILE (ELP)

ESGI - DIGITAL ELP 2.0

Based on the feedback from our district-wide engagement, educators expressed interest to find more efficient and effective ways to use the ELP alongside their learners.  Enter ESGI (Educational Software to Guide Instruction)!  A team of educators at North Glenmore Elementary, piloted the ESGI application in 2023-24 and in 2024-25 all K-3 educators (English and French Immersion) will have the option to use ESGI as part of the draft implementation of the Draft ELP 2.0.

ESGI was originally built by a Kindergarten teacher and it shows! The application is intuitive, easy to use, and has lots of added benefits to help educators quickly get a sense of where their learners are at in their literacy development.

Below are resources created for educators on using ESGI.  There is a guide document for those that like to learn in that format, and also several mini videos if that's more how you like to interact with helpful resources.

Please note! Our district uses the Canadian version of ESGIhttps://app.ca.esgisoftware.com/login.  If you find yourself on the US login page, simply click the "Looking for the Canadian login page? Click here" button to go to the Canadian ESGI login url.
